why treat children?
"My 6 1/2 month old daughter had her first appointment with Grace yesterday. I didn't really know what to expect. My daughter liked Grace instantly and the appointment went very smoothly. It was a very positive experience, Grace is very gentle and my daughter felt at ease. I could feel a change in my baby before Grace was even finished. We go for a follow up visit next week and I am looking foward to it. I think Grace is going to be able to help my daughter a lot. I am grateful to have found her."

This sentiment is commonly expressed by parents who come in. Like adults, children have illnesses and injuries, even starting as early as the birth process. These leave imprints on the developing body and person -- impositions that make it more challenging for the child to keep physically and neurologically aligned with his or her Inner Being. When we offer children help to release restrictions created by illness, stress, and injury, we support them to remain conected to their true selves throughout their childhood. Thus we help them to enter their adulthood powerful, whole, and authentic. This is one of the great gifts/healings that we adults can offer the next generation.

Philosophically, we also treat children because they are the next generation. As the people of the coming world, they are perfectly formed for the world to come, but they are growing up while the world is still in transition between the old and the new. The disharmonies of this transition cause a lot of stress and toxicity for the upcoming generation -- physically in their bodies and energetically for their spirits. By treating body and energetic aspects together, we help each child release accumulating stress and toxins, so that they maintain optimum health, vitality, and sense of self.
